Yes, there will be opportunities to interact with other participants, either via the webinar or in live sessions.

Yes, you can leave a review for the teacher after completing the course and we very much encourage you to do so. Only students who attended the course will be able to review a teacher, and teacher reviews will eventually be visible in the teacher's profile.

If you miss a realtime course, a recording will eventually be made available for you to watch via the teacher's profile.

The only way to keep dEdu uncensored and uncensorable is to free its courses from the straightjacket of State accreditation and standardized testing. This means that dEdu cannot legally issue official diplomas or degrees. However, in a system in which degrees are increasingly seen as irrelevant prelates extorted by an educational caste, we believe a proof of learning ("PoL") NFT upon completion of the courses of your choice hold more value to future employers and contributes more to personal development than a degree from a legacy college.

The course registration page asks for an Ethereum or Solana wallet where to send the Proof-of-Learning NFT after completion of each course. Over time, your wallet will show your learning history and how you compounded your curiosity.

Anybody can teach at dEdu about anything they know as long as students are willing to pay for it. dEdu prioritizes free expression as an inalienable human right. Its platform aims to allow legal speech with minimal removal — teachers can express opinions and ideas without fear of censorship, as long as course content stays within the law and does not violate specific rules (e.g., no direct threats, targeted harassment, child exploitation, or certain forms of violent/inciting content). Under the School's proposed governance model, the community has an ultimate veto right if courses would be deemed bad taste.

As a teacher, you can set your own price for your course. You can also teach for free. The price you set is per student. You can accept an unlimited number of students but we recommend you limit your course to a maximum number of students. Example: You will be teaching a course over one week in 5 classes of 2 hours each between 4:30pm - 6:30pm EST Monday to Friday. You hope to earn US$2,000 from your weeklong teaching, and limit your course to 40 students. The course price in dEdu's course calendar will show US$50.

You will receive your teaching fee at the end of the month in which your course was given. Over time, a smart contract will automate all payouts. Initially, the School will manually process payouts either in stablecoin to the wallet attached to your teacher profile or via a bank transfer.

If you do not reach your total course fee, you can either teach to a smaller group or decide to cancel the course. If you cancel, the School will take care of refunding those students who paid.

The School takes a 20% fee from each course fee to cover part of its platform and operational costs. The School is run as a non-profit and is funded via donations, which cover the majority of its costs.

Yes, we will help you staging your course and creating course materials, using AI with human override for both.

The program allows individuals and organizations to financially support dEdu's mission of building a decentralized online school. Donations help create an open education protocol that is owned by no one, accessible to everyone, and designed to be uncensorable — countering traditional education's shortcomings and enabling capable teachers outside formal institutions.
